So, Barry and Marion, so I thought had as old friends gotten back together and set the last Winter Wednesday of the year - a brand new kind of run. Well, we got another holiday, Christmas of course falling on a Wednesday, so we had a grabbag. So we had a lot of old friends (who haven't come back since). So we had a stop under the tree in Rockefeller Center. Only noone knew it because someone who I know wasn't Laird, cause he was behind me, pack marked the trail away from it further north. So there we are. The infallible Marion start - the only corner of the 72nd St and Bwy intersection where you didn't look, and quite windy at that.

Well, the mere presence of Keith, Catherine, braced Heidi and themselves was simply remarkable. I give them credit for drawing such a large crowd (and making it disappear again) on a Winter Wednesday. From now on an old timers' run will be set once a grabbag.

Gluttons for punishment all, what with the backchecks at Lincoln Center (that one wasn't so bad) it was actually forward only we went back, and the two noone ever saw at Columbus Circle and the tree.

In the gluttony vein, the culinary delights of the ONIN exceeded themselves - the Abest Chinese restaurant in town@ managed to dress the monumental portions of rice with somekind of soup, nobody got sick, the beer was beer, and the grabbag yielded some kind of rearend stuffer that made the rounds, singling out Keith, Barry and then its rightful owner. Do we ask for a repeat?
