INAUGURAL RUN -- Off to an auspicious start

Set by the Joint Master in what was deemed to be his usual confusional style by all those who had to use a quarter. That did not include this runner, who nonetheless had to use a quarter to find the start across the street from her office. Statistics: UN Start, Ellen O'Dees finish, sicilian pizza. Very original run except I had been told of a similar one by the same hare several years ago, and hence had no trouble in identifying the four-leaf clover pattern when I saw it. Very auspicious for an inaugural run. in addition, I was very pleasantly surprised to note that the foundations of the mighty complex I had been working in for fifteen years were genuine dirt, right in the middle of the East River Drive sidewalk under the building, because I fell in it. Do you know what's under the basement of the building you are working in? I have promised myself to keep these writeups short, so we can follow a new format and get two to a page. I had great projects of listing all the out-of-towners, virgins etc.'s names we were graced with - there were four, but I was too busy getting over the shock of having been "elected" joint master and subsequently signing the likely suspects up for runs, to do them justice. I promise if they come back often enough due mention will be made. Although I will most likely continue to tap unsuspecting individuals in a more personal way, if there are any would-be hares for December Wednesdays, please let me know.
