Wondrous Winter Wednesday Writeup No. 3 ...following in the tracks of the Summer (remember?) Sunday NASS HASH

Now that I have thoroughly forgotten what did and even what didn't happen on the Winter Wednesday Hash a month ago, November 19 to be precise, I shall attempt to faithfully render it for you in 100 words or less. We started exactly two blocks catty corner from the start at Columbus Circle, to which Alison brought her bike. Note: this is the last time she has been seen at the start of a run recently. She then shortcut somewhere west. More on this later. The trail however went south on 7th, 6th and then as far east as 1st. I know I missed some checks somewhere a particularly God awful one on 34th and Madison (approximately) - it was a backcheck. So was the one this past Sunday I didn't find. Anyway, what I did find was Robbie, casually finishing off his term in the big Apple and forgetting Wednesday is a hashing day, for all those who know the song.

I remember: the hare was Barry, and in true Barry-fashion we had a good new bar with real food it was called West Side Willie's or something of that nature finding itself after the once much exercised hospital stretch, on 2nd and 30th Street. Try to fool a hasher why don't you, along with Broadway Diner near Citicorp or Broadway Bakery on 1st Avenue - ononless venues though they be. We lost one semi-novice, Michelle - to Macy's no less, but stopped worrying about her once we realized she really meant to come back next time.

Giselle appeared after arduous hours battling with Iraq in a red dress to announce she was off to Western Sahara. If we ever do have that red dress run someone should get her address there. Jim from Washington was welcomed back a second time without running - he runs a DC happy hour on Friday.
